In the mean time, here are a few pictures I just dug up from the Islas Cíes. It's a beautiful chain of three small islands right out of Vigo. The water is pure and clear, and though it's freezing, it's some of the most gorgeous ocean I've ever seen. The Islands are only inhabited by the few people that work in the two restaurants and manage the campsites. Other than that, there are a ton of birds, fish, mussels, and tourists. but it is really quite lovely. I have more pictures, but here's a taste. We camped for three days and did NOT miss civilization in the least. This is one of the best kept secrets of Galicia in my opinion, and now I'm sharing it... dun dun dun.
